Does your logo look sharp online but blurry in print?
There’s a reason this happens – and a simple solution.
When viewed on screen, your logo will normally look sharp at a standard monitor resolution of 72 pixels per inch and will be made up of many tiny dots or pixels.
This only becomes a problem if you wish to take the logo from your website and have it printed much larger to go on a poster or roller banner, for example.
What you end up doing is enlarging the pixels to such an extent that they lose their sharpness, as there is not enough information in the file.
Your logo can be redrawn or reconstructed as a vector image, which uses paths and points rather than pixels.
Vector files are images that are built by mathematical formulas that establish points on a grid.
Vector files can infinitely adjust in size without losing resolution.
Having a vector file redraw allows you to have your logo as large as you need without losing any quality, and it’s much cheaper than having a new logo designed from scratch.
