Show materials designed and printed

Helvellyn Group is a manufacturer of low environmental impact direct coal replacement fuel for industrial and power generation applications. Their fuel is designed to mimic the characteristics of coal but with a substantial greenhouse gas saving. With a trade show booked in Cyprus, Helvellyn Group wanted some new trade show materials designed and printed to show on their stand.

DL Design was then asked to design a trifold leaflet, note pad and pen, coffee cup and roller banner.

Before any of this could be produced the logo had to be reconstructed to make it sharp enough to print at full size. The problem was the logo was in JPEG format which means it is made up of pixels and therefore will pixelate when enlarged to roller banner size. The logo was redrawn as a vector file meaning that it was constructed of paths allowing it be be enlarged as big as required without any loss in quality or sharpness.

Once redrawn, the logo was then suitable for small use such as the pen but also at large size, for example on the roller banner.

As you can see from the images above, there were five separate items, all requiring different production methods such as digital printing, large format printing and litho printing. This meant that multiple suppliers had to be used to ensure the materials were all delivered on time and on budget.
