PVC banner design and print

A high quality PVC banner

A PVC banner is so versatile that it can be used for almost any marketing purpose. Printed on our most popular outdoor material 440gsm PVC, it is sure to help market your event and get you noticed. Our most popular size is a 2ft x 10ft but you can have whatever size you like.

PVC banner design

If you don’t have artwork, we can create that for you too. When it comes to having a banner designed for your business there are a number of points that need to be considered. There are elements of a great banner design that many designers tend to neglect and could hamper success of your banner.

Unlike leaflet and brochure design, a banner needs to be easy to read when viewed from a distance and therefore, this needs to be taken into consideration when putting the design together. We have designed many banners for our clients throughout the years and we like to think that we know what works.

To give you an idea, here are a few pointers that should be considered when designing a banner:

Think about where the banner is going to be situated. Ideally, the colour scheme should contrast with the placement.

Use bright and contrasting colours. Orange background with white text helps to attract attention.

Use large text. The aim is always to attract attention from a distance.

Use a bold legible font. A font like ‘Arial’ always works well, it comes in different weights so you have the choice of a bold and medium weight.

Keep the content simple. The purpose of a banner is to communicate your message in a very small time-frame to those who are walking or driving by past.

Include the important information. Are you looking to increase awareness of your product or service or are you looking to inform viewers about a certain action you want them to take?

Use a call to action. Something like “Call us today for your free quotation.”

Use high quality images. If the images are too small they will look fine on a computer screen but once printed at full size they will pixelate. Also keep the use of images to a minimum otherwise design will look cluttered and unprofessional.

Use a hierarchy in your design. Make sure that the important points and information are the most prominent, with less important points being secondary.

Keep your brand in mind. If your brand colours are black and white, don’t feel that you need to use multiple colours and this will dilute your brand.
