Refreshing a logo for Roboris Solutions

You are happy with your logo but you want to change your branding. What do you do? Find out how I went about refreshing a logo for Roboris Solutions.

During another Zoom call the conversation turned to logos, which often happens and Vanessa asked me what I could do with her current logo as she wanted to change the company name and wanted my advice on refreshing a logo for Roboris Solutions.

My initial thoughts were that the graphic was refined, modern and still worked even if the company name was going to change and we both agreed on that. Black was used with the blue which I thought was a little stark and because of this I suggested using a dark grey instead.

I decided to present a number of colour options to get some feedback and initially went with dark blue, purple and green. Having looked through the versions Vanessa decided that she would prefer orange so that’s what I went with!

I wanted to keep keep a similar font and went for Regulator Nova which is a fresh, clean easy to read sans serif font which looks as good across all platforms and devices.

A new set of mini brand guidelines were created which showed the fonts and colour references for both print and web use, this will ensure that the logo will always be on brand providing the guidelines are followed.

Once I had put the logo elements together, I felt there was still something missing – it needed a tag line. The suggested tag line was ‘Business support you can depend on’ which fitted nicely with the main part of the logo, so that’s what I went with.

After a name and direction change for my business Darren recently rebranded my company and provided a new logo and colour scheme.

He was very easy to talk to and somehow managed to work out what I was after with some very vague information from me! He provided the exact look I wanted, which I am very impressed with. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs their branding doing.
