Leaflet and flyer design work

When you commission leaflet and flyer design work there are certain criteria that need to be met to ensure your leaflet or flyer has a winning design. It’s therefore important to consider the following:

Leaflets and flyers look great in full colour, are very cost effective to print, and if you want to get a good response from a leaflet or flyer you should make it clear to your audience what your unique selling point (USP) is.

Depending on the size and layout of your leaflet or flyer, you could use a time-bound offer, i.e. ‘half price this month’, ‘buy one get one free (BOGOF) or a call to action, i.e. ‘call for a free quote’. It’s key to have a headline, an offer and a call to action.

You should consider spending 30% of your budget on leaflet and flyer design work as you only get one chance to make a great first impression and leaflets and flyers are a very effective marketing tool when designed correctly. Of course you need them to be printed on a decent paper such as 170gsm silk or gloss and make sure the print supplier you choose can give you the printed result you want.

Leaflets and flyers can help you keep in touch with your customers because they are a great way to advertise special offers or to highlight the benefits you bring to your customers – just make sure you include your contact details in a prominent position to make it easy for customers to get in touch with you. Your phone number, website, email address and socials give your customers a variety of ways to get in touch with you.
