What’s your role at DL Design Associates?
DARREN“I’m the account director, and on a day-to-day basis I look for new business, service the client base, grow the business and check everything is running smoothly, I even occasionally make the tea.
LUKE“I’m the creative director, I’m responsible for the lion’s share of the design and artwork and I manage the studio. I rarely make the tea because I don’t tend to drink it!
What are your interests outside of the business?
DARREN“I enjoy DIY around the house, walking, trying to play the guitar, visiting Southwold and while I’m there having the odd pint or two of Adnams.”
LUKE“I enjoy playing football, going to rock gigs, playing the electric guitar, gaming on the latest games console and socialising.”
What is your burning desire?
DARREN“To build a successful business, be happy and have good health for myself and my family.”
LUKE“To have fun, whatever I am doing.”
Can you tell us something nobody knows about you?
DARREN“Yes, I once appeared in the audience on ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’
and when it came to ask the audience I, along with the rest of the audience
gave the wrong answer, the contestants went with it and succeeded in losing
all their money!”
LUKE“Yes, my dad once appeared on Jim’ll Fix It!”
