The brief
‘Your Mortgage Advisors’ wanted to re brand and call themselves ‘Your Advisors’ as they wanted to branch out into other areas rather than just mortgages. We were asked to produce designs based around a key. Simple you might think, so we submitted some initial visuals to show the client what direction we were going in. The feedback from the client was that the key had to look virtual; new age; like no key you’ve seen before. We went back to the drawing board!
Our approach
Our team decided we needed something radical, firstly we concentrated on how the key could look, it had to resemble a key but at the same time have a futuristic feel. It was decided, after much brainstorming that a chrome effect could be used which could be built upon to give the four colourways which would ultimately represent each area of the business as it grew. As a subtle touch we encompassed the initials ‘YA’ into the teeth of the key.
The feedback
The client loved the finished logo, it met their expectations and was delivered on time. It has now been adapted for use on the web, to let boards and business cards.
